Kaitlyn started teaching music back in 2012 and opened Tilghman's Academy of Music in 2018 because of her passion for sharing music with her students. She has taught band, orchestra, and general music classes in public elementary and middle schools.

She has written books and lesson plans for all levels of instruction. Kaitlyn is passionate about coaching teachers to begin or improve their education goals.
