Winter Classes
Classes will take place weekly January 5th through February 28th .
Pricing:
One-Time Fees:
30-minute classes $95+tax.
60-minute classes $125+tax.

Music Explorers
Ages 4-7
Mondays 12:30-1:00pm
​
Students will learn fundamentals of music such as rhythm, note reading, and solfège while exploring various instruments: tambourine, shakers, hand bells, drums, and piano. ​
Recorder Time
Ages 6+
Mondays 1:30-2:00pm
​
A great prep-course for band, orchestra, or choir. Kids will learn to read music and play popular songs.
​
Book and recorder kit available for $15. If you purchased a kit in a previous recorder class, you will not need to purchase again.
Advanced Band
Ages 11+
Mondays 2:00-3:00pm
​
Previous experience on a band instrument required. Learn blending and intonation as we dive into holiday songs, classical, pop, and jazz.
Rock Band
Ages 12+
*1+ month of prior experience required*
Friday 7:00-8:00pm
​
Rock band is for students with at least one month of prior experience on guitar, bass, drums, piano, or voice. Prior experience can be a month of private lessons at Tilghman's Academy of Music or through another school program. Learn how to jam in a group.

Other instruments may be accepted upon prior approval.
String Stars
Ages 8+
Tuesdays 1:15-2:15pm

Beginning ukulele and guitar class for students with some or no experience.
Piano Pals
Ages 3-5
Thursdays 4:00-4:30pm
​
Your little ones will learn how to play piano songs through colors and pattern recognition. We will learn counting, rhythm, note names, and music terms that will set up your child for any future musical aspirations. Come have fun and learn piano with us. Space is limited to 5 kids per class. Each kid will have their own piano keyboard to play during class.
Piano Pioneers
Ages 6-8
Thursdays 4:30-5:00pm

This is a beginner piano course for children. Students will have a rockin' time playing familiar tunes while learning how to read music and discover musical terms and concepts such as counting rhythm, playing dynamics, matching pitch, and so much more. Space is limited to 5 kids per class.
Piano Quest
Ages 9-11
Thursdays 5:00-5:30pm​
This is a beginner piano class that will teach students how to play piano while mastering music terms, reading, and concepts that will help prepare them for joining band or any other music program. Students will have the music foundation to branch into other musical styles.
Space is limited.
Piano Odyssey
Ages 12+
Thursdays 5:30-6:00pm​
This beginner piano class is for the late beginner. Adults are welcomed too. Students will learn how to read music, train their ears, and play familiar songs. Space is limited.
Piano Mastery
All Ages
*Audition Required*
Fridays 4:00-4:30pm

This piano class is for the experienced piano player. The class will teach in depth concepts such as expression, style, chords, complex rhythms, and more. Each student will be assigned a performance piece individually picked for their level that they will perform for the class at the end.
